Thanksgiving in Canada

I've just been chatting with my good mate Beckett from Home is Where the Hounds Are and he told me that it is Thanksgiving on Monday in Canada! Well, I had no idea! 


So, I'd just like to wish all our friends in Canada a very very happy Thanksgiving weekend (and I'd particularly like to wish Beckett's Mum good luck with the painting..... no turkey until you finish!)

Awe thanks Deccy. Thankfully that part of the turkey is gone before we eat it, otherwise I don't think it would be as appetizing. PS I am only taking a short break from the painting. I WILL get it done this weekend.

i am getting a late start, hubby and i went to thepreserve and walked for an hour and snapped a couple hundred pics. i would have been here sooner, but you directed me to becket's blog and i got caught up in viewing pup pics. i loved all the pics, made me smile big. just like you do. we saw a Declan Duplicate today on the way to the preserve. a lady was walking to dogs and one looked just like you, and the other like becket.

Hi Deccy, we're roasting a "non-medicated" turkey tomorrow on Thanksgiving. If you and your peeps hurry, you might make it for dinner. Yup, we have some of your favorite brew on hand. And yes, we have lots of good wine (no plonk) here too so your moms and my dad can have a drink or two. My mom will be cooking and cleaning up. So we'll leave the light on for you. Okay?
